A closer look into the committees:

University management

The university management is the executive of the university. It regulates the day-to-day business and presides over the university in all matters. Its members are the President, the Chancellor and the Vice-Presidents

Senate

The senate is the highest decision-making body of the university. It decides on and discusses appointments, changes to degree programmes and the general objectives of the university. It consists of 11 people, 2 of whom are students.

Student Convention

The Student Convention is the university-wide decision-making body of the student body and elects the members of the SSC
All matters concerning student participation and involvement in shaping university life are discussed here.
It consists of 42 students.
Every student may submit motions and attend the monthly public university meetings.

Student spokesman´s council

The SSC is the highest student body at the university. As the executive body, it regulates the daily business. The SSC consists of 9 students who deal with student concerns at all levels in weekly meetings.

Student council

The student council is the exchange and networking body of the student representatives of the 10 faculties. Each student representative is represented by 2 students.

Student representatives

The student representatives (elected students) deal with specific problems of the faculty. Certain members are members of other university (student parliament, faculty and student councils) as well as faculty committees (appointment or study grant commission).
